Point Riche Trail - Port au Choix National Historic Site, Parks Canada

Port au Choix

Jan 1 - Dec 31

This one-way 3 km trail connects the 2,000 year old Dorset habitation site at Phillip’s Garden to the octagonal Point Riche lighthouse, built in 1892. The trail offers a windswept landscape with exposed ancient seabeds, fossils and expansive ocean views. Caribou, sea birds and whales are often spotted while walking this trail. Watch for the Kayak Sculpture along the coast. There is a steep decline which can be slippery when wet.
