This one's ours.

In the wake of 9/11, 38 planes with 7,000 passengers were redirected to Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador. Out of the kindness of their hearts, the residents of Gander and surrounding communities opened their homes to host this group of stranded strangers.

Following three record-breaking summer seasons, producer Michael Rubinoff has announced that acclaimed director Jillian Keiley’s production of Irene Sankoff and David Hein’s Come From Away will return home to Gander for a fourth season in summer 2026. More than 50,000 theatregoers from around the world have travelled to Gander to experience the show in the place where the story unfolded, earning the production universal acclaim.
