Coastal Trail - Parks Canada Port au Choix National Historic Site

Port au Choix

Jan 1 - Dec 31

This one-way 1-km trail to Phillip’s Garden, a 2,000 year old Dorest habitation site, skirts the northern shoreline of the Point Riche peninsula. Along the way, you’ll find a coastal forest of small, dense trees with spectacular ocean views, and dramatic and ancient limestone seabeds that are now exposed along the coast. Watch for the Seal Hunter Sculpture, and fishing boats and whales in the distance. Slippery rock crossings when wet.
