Snug Harbour Route - Gros Morne National Park, Parks Canada

Follow the 8-km return unmarked route to scenic Snug Harbour, near the mouth of Western Brook Pond gorge and its dramatic 650-metre cliffs. The beach at this little cove is a great place to rest or primitive camp. Be prepared to ford Western Brook. The water can be very deep after a rainfall, and it is advisable to bring extra footwear such as sandals. Camping permit required, permit available at Park facilities.
