This short interpretative trail winds peacefully through the woods to a quiet brook, while telling the story of Mattie Mitchell and the Mi'kmaq in Newfoundland. Mattie Mitchell was a renowned Mi'kmaq hunter, guide, and prospector who has been recognized as a person of national historic significance. Trail is a 250m loop, a 15 min walk.
