Tikigiaksaugusik Festival

Tikigiaksaugusik, Inuktitut word meaning “a gathering place". An annual festival that takes place during the early spring to bring together people for an eventful weekend. Some of the popular events include the Francis Campbell Memorial shoot out and other shooting matches on the cove, the Levi Pottle Dog team Race on Double Mer, and family games at the cove in Rigolet. A community feast and closing ceremonies to end off a fun week of games and friendly competition.
