This return walk is the shortest of the Signal Hill trails. The name is derived from the 1700s, when this hill was the site of a wooden post, or a "Gibbet", used to display the bodies of executed criminals to the town below. Level of Difficulty: Moderate. Length and Distance:1 km round trip. Time: 20 mins. Location: Trail head is located to the right of the Visitor Centre.
