The Warpath / Otter Rub Trail

During WWII Arnold’s Cove became part of the huge defense system in Newfoundland & Labrador. The American military arrived in 1941, they set up anti-aircraft units and watch towers at this point. Today at this site you will discover an updated walking trail with over 2 km of coastline to explore. The parking lot and entrance are located at the end of Peach Street and the trail will take you along the coast to High Head, with beautiful views of Placentia Bay.
