The Marjorie Bridge & Thrombolites Walking Trail

The Bridge was a critical piece of infrastructure that was originally built over 100 years ago by Patrick and William Burke to enable citizens of Flower’s Cove to have access to the other communities in the early days of travel. You will thoroughly enjoy this easy walking trail that is just 2 KM return, the namesake, Thrombolites, are primitive life forms. Bun-shaped, these unicellular critters left a good size trace of their existence in the fossil record.
