This hikes begins with a gentle warmup as the trail winds through forest to a viewing platform at the mountain base. Next, start the more challenging mountain section that brings you up to Gros Morne National Park’s highest point (806m) and be rewarded with awesome views of the Long Range Mountains and the Ten Mile Pond gorge. The summit is also home to arctic hare, rock ptarmigan, caribou and arctic-alpine plants. You guide is there to support you every step during this 18km challenging hike.
