The Big Lookout hike is a spectacular panoramic lookout located in the southern half of Gros Morne National Park. First, we’ll follow a trail climbing through the forest and emerge from the trees onto a highland plateau. Next, your guide will lead you off trail and over the exposed barren tundra, following an old fire watch route to the summit of the Lookout Hills. Enjoy amazing views over Bonne Bay and the Long Range Mountains as your guide recreates Gros Morne’s 500 million year old story.
