Penwaaq L'nu'k - Benoit First Nation

Penwaaq L'nu'k Mawio'mi is our annual traditional family powwow held next to Kluskap's Trail each year on the 3rd full weekend of July, beginning with a grand entry. There are vendor's who sell local crafts, pow-wow dancers, drummers signing and chanting, local foods, and an overall celebration of our Mi'kmaw culture and heritage. Open to all, drug and alcohol free, and family safe. When rained out, the 3-day event is held in the local Our Lady of the Cape gymnasium.
