East Blow Me Down Trail

Hike to the Earth’s mantle in the Bay of Islands, 20-min. from Corner Brook, on this moderately challenging 7km return trail. Begin with a stream crossing then wind through forest, wetland, & barrens before ascending 550m. Along the way enjoy panoramic views of the Bay of Islands. At the top explore the peridotite plateau & geological marvels. Visit the Cabox Aspiring Geopark’s Information Center at the Saltbox Restaurant in Benoit’s Cove to learn about the area’s natural & cultural heritage.
