East Coast Trail - Sounding Hills Path

Sounding Hills Path offers easy to moderate 5.4 km, 2-3 hour hiking from Ferryland to Aquaforte, with attractions like the Colony of Avalon, lighthouse, picnicking spots, cobble beaches, and a waterfall. However, this path is currently closed at the Ferryland Trailhead but remains open from the Aquaforte Trailhead, check the ECT website for updates. Hikers are asked to only hike from Aquaforte to Herring Cove & return. The ECT is a registered charity organization, the Trail is free to hike.
