East Coast Trail - Deadmans Bay Path

Explore the 10.5 km, 4-7 hour Deadmans Bay Path from Fort Amherst to Blackhead. This moderate to difficult hike features wild flowers, whale watching, scenic viewpoints, and swimming holes. Hikers will find a barachois in Freshwater Bay, which may occasionally washout requiring the use of Leamy's Brook Bridge at the base of Freshwater Bay. The ECT is a registered charity; the Trail is free to use. Donations and memberships help support the organization and continue maintenance of the ECT.
