A Manning Award winner for heritage excellence. A 500-year-old cedar tree carved as a Monumental Pole and erected in 1999. Standing 50 feet high, 4.5 feet wide, the NL Heritage Tree has 50 images of art carvings of historic people & scenes, icons, events and cultures of Newfoundland and Labrador from prehistoric times to modern day.
