Whether you wish to sit back and relax or learn about our history, our sandy beach offers adventures for everyone. Enjoy the smell of the ocean and the sounds of waves crashing as you look across the bay to the french islands of Saint Pierre et Miquelon. Learn about the resettled islands that were once home to many local families, how they floated their houses across the sea, and the work they used to do. We are also home to a colony of Arctic terns.
