A moderate/difficult, 2- to 3-hour, 10 km return trail from the parking lot at Barachois Park Provincial Park to the top of Erin Mountain. The trail begins along a boardwalk through the boreal forest, leading to a viewing area that overlooks small bogs and Barachois Pond. The upper part of the trail ascends steeply through bush and over rock, to the 340 meter mountain peak, offering a beautiful panoramic view of Bay St. George, the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Long Range Mountains.
