One of the last large, unspoiled areas remaining on the island of Newfoundland. This 2,895 km² reserve is an excellent venue for backcountry wilderness recreation including canoeing and kayaking, camping, angling and hunting, bird and wildlife watching, and outdoor photography. Remote access only via air, canoe or snowmobile in winter (outside of caribou winter range). No services or built trails. Free entry permits are required.
