Celebrate our province's most observed holiday in a family-friendly environment! Trouting on the May 24th weekend is something that rivals even Queen Victoria's birthday itself! Generations of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians long for this date to arrive on the calendar! With bamboo rods and a few nightcrawlers in the basket, thousands of Newfoundlanders have hauled on rubber boots, grabbed their rods, reels, and baskets, and headed off to their favourite fishing hole! This offer is intended for families to experience our traditional trout fishing experience! A full day of trouting, with a boilup fire and lunch included, will end with a wonderful BBQ supper. A campfire beside our pond, under a starlit night, will bring our day to a close. Sunday your guide will lead you to another location for a guided tour of one of our numerous off-the-grid excursions, with some fishing, a beach fire and tour lunch included. Your tour will end with a feast at the lodge.
