On the shores of picturesque Upper Island Cove, across the street from the Upper Island Cove Fossil Site Beach, you'll find the Cara Kansala Folk Art Studio. Paintings, wooden sculptures, cards, prints and books celebrating Newfoundland & Labrador. A full-time artist for over 30 years, Cara paints clotheslines & landscapes, goats & dancing saltbox houses - the colourful and quirky things that make the province unique. Also a popular children's book author, you'll find her books at the studio.
